Speak out against ai-assisted mass surveillance of Austin’s parks and pools!
At the ATX City Council Meeting on August 28, Council Members will decide whether or not to kick off 3 - 5 years of pre-warrant mass surveillance of Austin families, children, and pets at our local parks and pools.
This mass surveillance program will cost the taxpayer up to $2 million. Initially, $400,000 will come out of the Parks and Recreation department budget for this surveillance program.
Call To Action:
1. Sign up to testify against Item 33 at the Austin City Council meeting on Thursday, August 28! You can testify in person at City Hall downtown (don't forget to get your parking validated at the front desk) or you can testify virtually via zoom (make sure to sign up beforehand for the zoom option).
