Flood Mutual Aid Receipts

HOCTX takes transparency seriously. Please see our records and accounting of the funds and supplies donations we have caught and routed to our Central Texas community in response to the July 4 flood.

Friday, July 4 we launched the Fundly Mutual Aid Fundraiser to raise $25,000 for mutual aid for Texans impacted by the July 4 weekend floods.

Saturday, July 5 we pivoted our pre-planned FREEDOM FEST to a live-streamed fundraiser with Mobley, Shakes & Chills, and Robert A Kraft.

Monday, July 7 we organized a supply collection at Noble Coffee Co in Austin with Good Grief Run Club and started paying for hotel rooms for flood-impacted families.

Tuesday, July 8 we did an initial supply delivery run and started mapping no-cost supply pick-up points starting in Kerr County, through Marble Falls, up to the Leander Sandy Creek neighborhood.

Wednesday, July 9 some of our veterans self-deployed to Sandy Creek and Kerr County to SAR for people and animals. We supported a supply pick-up point in Sandy Creek with supplies.

Thursday, July 10 we delivered more supplies to flood-impacted individuals and supply points and attended a community-led press conference in Sandy Creek where residents spoke about their experiences.

Friday, July 11 we continued to coordinate with Austin Mutual Aid and organizations and individuals on the ground in Sandy Creek to provide supplies and housing to flood-impacted families and SAR volunteers.

Saturday, July 112 we held a KYR training and collected funds for our mutual aid fund.
