Join us for a Hands Off Higher Education protest at the TX Capitol on Sunday, May 25 from 12 - 3 PM. We will have youth, professor, and elected representatives speaking on the importance of protecting our students and institutions of higher education. First amendment rights, student visas, and access to high education is under attack by the anti-education MAGA regime. Come out, stand up, fight back!
WHEN: Sunday, May 25 from 12 - 3 PM
WHERE: TX Capitol Confederate Lawn (south west front side of the Capitol)
BRING: Everyone who cares about education! Bring your students, colleagues, family and friends — plus your creative protest signs (No sticks longer than 12 inches are allowed by Capitol DPS including flag poles.)
MOBILITY: This event will be in-place, no marching. Feel free to bring camp chairs, picnic blankets, coolers, umbrellas for the sun, etc. The Capitol bathrooms are ADA accessible, the lawn may be difficult for mobility issues and wheelchairs but our volunteers are on-site to support you in whatever way you need!
